- Soak the decoction herbs in a measured amount of water and boil the mixture until the volume reduces to one-fourth of the original quantity.
- Strain the concentrated liquid using a clean muslin cloth to remove leftover herb residues and ensure clarity.
- Add jaggery to the strained decoction and stir continuously until it dissolves completely and blends well.
- Transfer the mixture into a wide-mouthed vessel that has been internally coated with cow ghee.
- Mix in the aromatic herbal powders and seal the container securely using a cloth coated with mud.
- Place the sealed container in a fermentation chamber and allow it to ferment undisturbed for approximately 30 days.
- Once fermentation is complete, filter the liquid again through a clean muslin cloth to get rid of any solid remnants.
- Pour the final product into a dark-coloured, airtight glass jar.
- Store the jar in a cool, dry place and allow it to mature before use.
